I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!
This year, I’m doing Connor’s Run for Gideon.
Eight years ago, at just eight years old, Gideon lost his life to an aggressive brain cancer. His mum, my wonderful colleague, runs Connor’s Run each year in his memory. This year she can’t be there, so I’m incredibly privileged to run in her place, for Gideon, and for her.
I’ll be carrying Gideon’s memory with me every step of the way, while raising funds for the research that will change the future for children diagnosed with brain cancer.
Brain cancer remains the #1 disease killer of young people. Research is bringing us closer to better treatments, better outcomes and, ultimately, a future where no family has to lose a child to this devastating disease.
So this September, I will run for Gideon, carrying his awesomeness forward, one step at a time.
