IN MEMORY OF KOA OUR LITTLE SUPERHERO
I’m so proud to be joining Team Koa this September and walking in honour of a little boy whose life, although far too short, has left an incredible legacy.
Koa lived just 4 years, 1 month and 4 days. If you were lucky enough to meet him, you couldn’t help but be impacted by his infectious energy, his spunk and his incredible love of life. His time here was heartbreakingly short, but the mark he left on this world will never be forgotten.
Last year, Team Koa came together to raise awareness and funds for the RCD Foundation, who supported Koa and his family throughout his journey. The foundation is leading vital research in Australia with the goal of making paediatric brain cancer a thing of the past. Koa was so proud of everything Team Koa achieved last year — and, knowing Koa, he had an absolute ball doing it.
This September, in Koa’s honour, we’ll be walking 214km throughout the month. 214 represents the number of weeks that our beautiful Koa Lenny got to live on this earth.
I’m honoured to walk alongside Team Koa and help keep Koa’s name, story and legacy alive.
