In memory of our beautiful Koa
Our beautiful Koa lived 4 years 1 month and 4 days. If you were lucky enough to meet our warrior, he would have no doubt impacted you in some way with his infectious energy, spunk and love of life. His life was way too short but his legacy will live on in the way he changed this world forever.
Last year we had a team Koa Day to raise awareness and funds for the RCD foundation who supported Koa throughout his journey. They are leading the research in Australia to make paediatric brain cancer a thing of the past. Koa was so proud of the awareness and money raised by Team Koa last year(and had so much fun doing so).
In honour of our gorgeous boy and to give us a purpose in this suffocating and agonising grief we will be walking 214kms throughout the month of September. This number represents the total number of weeks that our Koa Lenny got to live on this earth.
