Polly's Pink Pony Club: Why We Run

Polly's Pink Pony Club exists because of Polly Jackett, our youngest, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2025, had a 14-hour surgery the following day, and spent the next year going through chemotherapy in Australia and proton radiation therapy in the United States.

She came home in January 2026. She's in remission. She wears pink. She loves ponies. She goes to music therapy most weeks, run by the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, the same foundation this whole team is here to support.

We're doing Connor's Run in September as a team: family, friends, and anyone who wants to join us. We'll be wearing pink wristbands. It's a good morning with a great cause, and you don't have to be a runner, a walk counts just as much.

The RCD Foundation funds paediatric brain cancer research and programs for kids going through treatment right now. Brain cancer is the #1 disease killer of young Australians. We've seen firsthand what this foundation does. We'd love your help, whether that's joining the team or donating to the page.
