I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!

Max Foster McIntyre passed away on June 22nd, 2025, just six days shy of his sixth birthday. Diagnosed with ependymoma in late 2023, Max underwent several forms of treatment from 2023-2025, but ultimately passed away. During this time, Max enjoyed the Music Therapy program provided by the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, the cancer charity behind Connor’s Run. As such, we’d appreciate donations as a way to honour Max, and to support all the brave and awesome kids fighting brain cancer - the #1 disease killer of young people.

Max has been a big-hearted young man of deep love and great courage. He loved going to school at the Arden Anglican School, and his school loved and supported him right back (and continue to support his little sister to this day). He is very, very well loved and brought joy to so many of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents Fiona and Dan, and sister Liv, and their wider family and friends, all of whom are impacted by this tragic event.

Brain cancer research is on the tipping point. We can all be part of making important breakthroughs happen. Our participation is something that we can do to support the science and in the meantime the patients. For all the people out there currently battling brain tumours and for those who couldn’t wait for research to progress any longer.
