Doing it for Jack!!

This year, our family – Matt, Carley, Sam, and Alex – are taking part in Connor’s Run to raise much-needed funds for brain cancer research and support, in memory of our beautiful boy Jack.

We lost Jack just six months ago, at the age of 14, to this devastating disease. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing him – his kind heart, his cheeky grin, and his love of life are missed every single day.

We’re running 3km as a family, not only to honour Jack but to help others walking a similar path. We're proud to be raising funds for the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, whose support has meant so much to us. After Jack passed, our amazing music therapist Abby applied for a Music Matters grant that gave Sam and Alex access to music therapy. These sessions have been a gentle, powerful way for them to process their grief, express their emotions, and begin to heal through music.

I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!

We're doing Connor’s Run to support the brave and awesome kids fighting brain cancer - the #1 disease killer of young people, and to fund the science that will one day end paediatric brain cancer. 

Brain cancer research is on the tipping point. We can all be part of making important breakthroughs happen. Our participation is something that we can do to support the science and in the meantime the patients. For all the people out there currently battling brain tumours and for those who couldn’t wait for research to progress any longer.
