I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer.

In 2023, our world changed forever when my daughter, Mila, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just two years old. What followed were the most frightening and stressful days of our lives - emergency brain surgery and a rough two week recovery at Monash Children's Hospital. 

Today, Mila is doing incredibly well, and for that we are so grateful. She has regular brain scans and specialist appointments, which will  continue throughout her childhood and into adulthood. 

We know so many families aren't as fortunate as ours. That's why I'm taking on Connor's Run. I'm running so that one day no family has to hear the words, "Your child has a brain tumour." I'm running for Mila, for every child currently fighting brain cancer, for the families who are navigating the unimaginable, and in memory of the children who never had the chance to grow up. 

Brain cancer remains the leading disease killer of young Australians, but research is giving us hope that this can change.  Every dollar donated helps fund vital research that brings us closer to better treatments, improved outcomes, and one day, a cure.
