Race Week - Ka-Chow!

Race week is here!

With 75 strong racer's ready to take on the day, we can't wait to see you out there on the track. As Smokey say's in the 3rd movie: “The only thing faster than the car is the driver behind the wheel.” It's time to fire up the engines and get ready to head towards the finish line, and when the going get's tough remember this quote from The King: “You can’t quit now, Lightning. You’re not a quitter.”

'You are a symbol of greatness, Lightning. Don’t lose that.'

13 days to go!

Time to fire up the engines and get ready for the Piston Cup race day.

To quote Sterling in the 3rd movie: "You are a symbol of greatness, Lightning. Don’t lose that."

Hayden is the symbol and motivator to get your engines roaring and ready to race!

We can't wait to see everyone on the day. We have raised over $17k and have over 60+ people joining us on the day.

'I’m happier than a tornado in a trailer park!'

With less than 4 weeks to go we can't wait to see everyone on the big day.

Hayden is dialed in and ready to race on the big day, and to quote Mater: "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park!"

Keep the training up, and spreading the word. The more we raise the closer we get to finding new medicines to fight against kids brain cancer.

'I’m faster than fast, quicker than quick.'

With 31 days to go, it is time to focus in and get ready for the big race day.

Hayden is so excited to see everyone on the day, and we can't believe that we have got 40 amazing racers who have joined our team for the day.

We are very close on achieving the huge milestone of $15k in fundraising as well. So as McQueen would say: "I’m not coming in behind you again, old man!". Let's keep spreading the word and smash our goal of $15k

With 40 days to go, we are getting excited for everyone to get together and run the race with Hayden.

As a team we have raised over $10k and have got over 25+ people in our team. AMAZING!

To quote the famous Doc Hudson: "When I go out on the track and I see Lightning McQueen, I don't see a car. I see a kid who gave me my love of racing back." Hayden is the little kid who gives us the love of running everyday.

'Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed.'

Hayden is so excited about how many people are going to join him on the day for the run.

As a team we have absolutely smashed our fundraising goal, and as a result we are going to increase our goal to the HUGE $10k mark. To quote Lightning: "Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed."

We have absolutely smashed our team goal of raising $5,000 and we are all blown away with everyone's kindness and generosity.

I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!

We're doing Connor’s Run to support the brave and awesome kids fighting brain cancer - the #1 disease killer of young people, and to fund the science that will one day end paediatric brain cancer.

Brain cancer research is on the tipping point. We can all be part of making important breakthroughs happen. Our participation is something that we can do to support the science and in the meantime the patients. For all the people out there currently battling brain tumours and for those who couldn’t wait for research to progress any longer.

We're doing this because we know we can find a way to make brain cancer go the way of the dinosaurs. Make a donation to our page and be part of making brains matter, together we can change the odds for young people.
