Big news as we gear up for Connor’s Run!

Our Founder and CEO, Liz Dawes OAM, has been inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women 2025 as a Change Agent. Liz attended the ceremony last night to accept the honour alongside fellow inductees.

Since starting RCD in 2013 in memory of her son, Connor, Liz has helped spark a movement that’s changing care and research for children and young adults with brain cancer. As Professor David Eisenstat notes, her impact has been truly transformational for Victoria’s neuro-oncology community.

We’ll be celebrating this milestone with the community at Connor’s Run this September—because progress happens when people lace up, show up and have #morefunthanrun.
